We all have a story, a cause, a nonprofit that speaks to our hearts. During this season of giving and gratitude, we asked each member of our team to share one of theirs with you.

Renae Oswald-Anderson: Vocal Point combines my love of choral music and impactful community-based nonprofit organizations. Seventy+ talented singers and musicians share their love of the performing arts and raise money for another nonprofit through their concerts. Many concerts offer an original composition commissioned by the chorus as they address critical community issues such as equity, mental health, youth development, or employment barriers. The beneficiary nonprofit gets to share their story during the concert and build greater awareness with a new audience. This is community building and the power of music at its best!
