Jennifer Hipple: I support Emma Norton Services (ENS) and the work it’s doing to support women, children, and youth in need. Park Square Theatre, where I am a board member, provides such experiences across the spectrum of age, race, or ethnicity, geography, income level—all those things that too easily divide us.

My summers working as a camp guide, immersed in nature and in community with other adventurers, provided me with some of the most foundational self-discovery and leadership development opportunities that have shaped who I am.

Renae Oswald-Anderson: Vocal Point combines my love of choral music and impactful community-based nonprofit organizations. Seventy+ talented singers and musicians share their love of the performing arts and raise money for another nonprofit through their concerts. Many concerts offer an original composition commissioned by the chorus as they address critical community issues such as equity, mental health, youth development, or employment barriers.

One organization Heidi Herron supports is KIVA, which was created by a team of women. KIVA makes loans to help under-served communities around the world thrive. A single donation can be paid back and re-lent again and again to more folks in need. “I can donate locally through KIVA or internationally, depending on what is happening in the world,” Heidi says.
